Meet Peggy Hutchings
Peggy Hutchings is the Gift Administration and Stewardship Coordinator at Ripon, working in her 12th year. She lives in an old house in Ripon with her husband and three dogs, and enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with her daughter, and volunteering with local dog rescue and veteran non-profit groups.
What do you love most about Ripon College and your involvement here? I love the organization and attention to detail that my position at the college requires, and especially the wonderful conversations with alumni and friends when they call for assistance in making a gift.
What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in Ripon? I want potential contributors to know that every single gift is important to Ripon in order to support the high quality of Ripon’s faculty, maintain its beautiful campus, and continue to provide life-changing programs and opportunities to its students.
Why do you think giving back is important to the advancement of Ripon and its students? I know how truly grateful the entire college community is for the generous support of its donors, and that their commitment is what will keep Ripon College and its students moving successfully forward in changing times in higher education.
