Welcome Intern Moldenhauer!
Please help us welcome Intern Chelsea Moldenhauer to our team, effective Monday, February 10th. You may recognize her as she is a former employee of ChiroPlus. She will be interning at both our offices in Green Lake and Wautoma. Here’s a little bit about Chelsea…
Intern Moldenhauer’s bio:
Chelsea Moldenhauer is currently a chiropractic intern in her final months of graduate school at the National University of Health Sciences where she will graduate in April. She will be spending two months at ChiroPlus completing a clerkship in order to further develop her patient care abilities and chiropractic adjusting techniques.
Chelsea grew up nearby in Ripon, WI where she graduated from Ripon High School in 2011 and later Ripon College with a degree in Biology in 2015. She decided on Ripon College for her undergraduate schooling seeing as the college was close to home, great networking and the strong science programs. While attending Ripon College, Chelsea also played on the women’s basketball team, where she suffered a whiplash injury during a game and went to the college’s chiropractor and was exposed to the wonders of conservative care. Since then, she has been an advocate for helping individuals heal and obtain wellness through chiropractic care.
In order to best achieve this, Chelsea has received training in multiple styles of manual manipulation, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, flexion-distraction, and rehabilitative/strengthening exercises. She is also certified in RockTape (kinesio-tape) methods. In the future, Chelsea
hopes to continue her training to include pediatrics and maternal health.
In her free time, Chelsea loves to spend time with her friends and family, watch sporting events (or coach them), cook/bake, read a good book, or spend time outdoors with her family’s dog, Oakley.
