In Memory of Robert D. Hovey ’52
ROBERT D. HOVEY ’52 of Mission Hills, Kansas, died Dec. 11, 2022. At Ripon, he participated in ROTC, Sigma Chi/Omega Sigma Chi and Partners in the Legacy. He attended law school at the University of Kansas. He joined his father’s law firm in 1954 and worked there 50 years to the day. He was member and president of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, The American Royal, The Saddle and Sirloin Club, Vanguard Club and The Kansas City Club. He enjoyed spending weekends at Yellowbarn Farm and outdoor activities, watching university basketball and summer trips to Colorado. Survivors include his wife, Eugenia; and four daughters.
