Spring 2018

Happy April,

It’s been a cold winter this year in Wisconsin with very little snow!  Those of us in Wisconsin can’t wait for warmer weather and for spring to come.  It was a tough year for the Green Bay Packers but there is always next year!

It’s hard to believe that it will soon be 20 years since we graduated from Ripon College.  So much has changed over the past 20 years. Twenty years ago, very few people had cell phones.  Now, we can’t seem to live without them. Back then, Starbucks sold their first Frappuccino, ebay made its online debut and OJ Simpson was found not guilty of murder!  Boy does time fly!

As most of us are now in our 40’s, it’s important to remember how important Ripon was to all of our lives.  Some of us met lifelong friends; some of us met our lifelong partner. I’m sure everyone can remember a positive encounter with a professor or college staff.  Whatever your experience, it is important to keep in mind the financial health of the college. If you are able, please consider giving back to Ripon as the college counts on our assistance to maintain the level of excellence it provides.

In closing, I hope you all had a fabulous 2017 and wish you all luck in 2018.  Please remember to keep sending us your updates so that we can include them in the class notes.

Have a great summer!
