1960 Spring ’23 Class Letter

Dear Class of 1960,

I am happy to report that there is news this time. I really appreciate it when you send me news of your life. I am sure that everyone likes to hear what their classmates are still up to.

February in Phoenix is the Super Bowl and a big golf tourney. There is also a Presidential Welcome Reception for an opportunity to meet President Victoria N. Folse in Arizona! It is on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. Trustee MARK FRANZEN ’83 and JANICE HEINZ FRANZEN ’83 are hosting at their home in Paradise Valley. This is a great opportunity to visit with Vickie and other alumni and parents as she provides initial remarks about her vision for the future of the College and answers questions. For more information, or registration, go to ripon.edu/about-ripon/president/welcome-receptions/.

PAT CARROLL CARSON ’60 is now living in a small house in Aurora. She has created a garden on her deck and has a colorful array of flowers when they are in bloom. Unfortunately, she had to bury her last cat who was 17 years old. She is also busy with a lunch group and lots of game nights.

KARL PIOTROWSKI ’60 is still managing his construction business with his son, Brian. His daughter, Joy, and her husband, Hunter, have returned from Kenya and have bought a home in Silver Springs, Maryland.
