Hello Ripon Class of 1983!

Alumni Weekend was spectacular with the Class of 1983 presenting the largest giving check of  $1,232,908.86 and over the last 5 years we have contributed $2,235,700.78. What would be very meaningful is to increase our percentage of donors to exceed our 30% level and have an awesome showing of attendees for our 40th Reunion in 2023. Please think about this now to make plans to attend.

This year we had 20 attendees and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together:

DAVE STEWARD ’83, TODD JAEGER ’83, LEXIE SHEPARD KERMANI ’83, MASOUD KERMANI ’83, JOEY WATKINS ’83, JIM MENDYKE ’83, DAWN RUDNIK ’83, KATI WANEK FORSYTHE ’83, LYN ROSENBERG MCCARTHY ’83, SCOTT FLEMING ’83, BRYAN GHALIOUNGUI ’83, KEVIN DYKSTRA ’83, MARK FRANZEN ’83, JANICE HEINZ FRANZEN ’83, JOHN CLAY ’83, BARB WILLIAMS CLAY ’83, ROBERT BRANDFASS ’83, BILL JAHN ’83, ELI PETERSON GUZNICZAK ’83, MIKE GUZNICZAK ’83.

There were so many fun activities.  JIM MENDYKE ’83 planned the alumni lacrosse event for the “oldies” while bringing young athletes to participate in a competition and get a taste of Ripon College.  The Clays and Guzniczaks played in annual Doc Weiske ‘50 Memorial Golf Scramble, LEXIE SHEPARD KERMANI ’83 and KEVIN DYKSTRA ’83 continue to represent us on the Alumni Board and I will join them in the fall. MARK FRANZEN ’83 is a trustee and Janice and Mark were gracious hosts for us at their home on Green Lake during our 35th celebration, what gracious hosts and a fun time together on Green Lake.

We reunited with professors, friends, and felt the amazing impact that we shared at Ripon. I look forward to reconnecting with you and invite you to do the same.

Peace, love, and friendship to all. I look forward to hearing from you.
