Meet Ryan Weir
Ryan Weir joined Ripon’s Office of Advancement in 2022. As a Director of Development, Ryan works closely with major gift donors to the college that help advance strategic initiatives including endowments, scholarships, program investments and facility enhancements. Ryan is often on the road visiting alumni and friends of the college across the country and looks forward to meeting to share news from Ripon and learning about donors’ personal philanthropy.
A Ripon High School alumnus, Ryan is a graduate of the University of Iowa, and UW-Madison. He was a student-athlete while at Iowa, competing on the track & field team. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and being outdoors.

What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in Ripon? Reach out so we can better understand what you are passionate about supporting. Be aspirational, think transformational.
Why do you think giving back is important to the advancement of Ripon and its students? Philanthropy is quintessential to providing an outstanding student experience, through access to opportunities that might not otherwise be possible. Equally significant is the investment in innovation that provides for a vibrant 21st century campus that remains rooted in the liberal arts.
