On behalf of the immediate and extended Ripon College community, thank you for the role you played in leading us to our most successful fundraising year ever – over $16.5 million in new funds committed. Ripon’s giving culture is a constant reminder that the College has always provided students the means to attain an excellent college education. I am heartened by the support of thousands of people who credit a Ripon education with helping them achieve success in their careers and lives.

Ripon Fund

The Ripon Fund is a critical measure of donor support, which over the past 10 years, has provided an average of $2 million annually to the College’s operating budget to enhance the student experience and complement our endowment and tuition dollars. In 2020-2021, the College exceeded its budgeted goal by over $1.25 million, finishing the fiscal year at $3.8 million. Once again, the fourth annual #OneDayRally exceeded expectations, reeling in more than $1.6 million from a total of 2,080 donors.

Scholarship

The college saw a record number of seven-figure gifts and pledges in 2020-2021, all of which were designated toward the creation of new endowed scholarships. At Ripon, we are determined to remain a leader in providing access to a premier liberal arts education. The $7.8 million raised for endowed scholarships further solidified Ripon as the most affordable private college in the state of WI.

Endowment

As of June 30, 2021 our endowment was valued at $117 million following the announcement that we achieved our institutional goal of surpassing the $100 million mark. In many ways, this milestone secures the college’s future. Thanks to strong market performance and donor support, the endowment has grown 50% since 2012.

On behalf of the students, faculty and staff, thank you for all you do for Ripon College.  We are especially grateful for the inspiration you provided us in 2021 and wish you all the best in 2022.
